Rocketcoin is an experimental digital currency that enables instant payments to anyone with or without a payment receiver verification, anywhere in the world. Rocketcoin plans to use a send and verify technology to ensure that no transaction is lost if sent to an incorrect, improper, or malformed address.
The concept with Rocketcoin is to allow users the ability to send or receive a transaction, but set a time limit that the transaction must be accepted or the transaction is returned to the sender and the funds are not lost. Transaction Verification technology will prevent coins and funds from being lost due to an incorrect address or incorrect coin type.
Rocketcoin uses peer-to-peer technology to operate with no central authority: managing transactions and issuing money are carried out collectively by the network. Rocketcoin Core is the name of open source software which enables the use of this currency. Rocketcoin Verify is the technology enablement platform that allows for transaction confirmation and verification.

Rocketcoin is an open source software project released under the MIT/X11 license which gives you the power to run, modify, and copy the software and to distribute, at your option, modified copies of the software. The software is released in a transparent process that allows for independent verification of binaries and their corresponding source code.
The Rocketcoin blockchain is capable of handling higher transaction volume than its counterpart - Bitcoin. Due to more frequent block generation, the network supports more transactions without a need to modify the software in the future.
As a result, merchants get faster confirmation times, while still having ability to wait for more confirmations when selling bigger ticket items.
Wallet encryption allows you to secure your wallet, so that you can view transactions and your account balance, but are required to enter your password before spending rocketcoins.
This provides protection from wallet-stealing viruses and trojans as well as a sanity check before sending payments.
Miners are currently awarded with 50 new rocketcoins per block, an amount which gets halved roughly every 4 years (every 840,000 blocks).
The rocketcoin network is therefore scheduled to produce 84 million rocketcoins, which is 4 times as many currency units as Bitcoin.
